I am a dedicated and experienced educator with over 30 years of service in Sarasota County Schools, specializing in IB, AP, Honors, and on-level Economics instruction. Throughout my career, I have developed rigorous curriculum, mentored new teachers, and collaborated with colleagues to promote academic excellence and student success. As Social Studies Department Chair for 17 years, I served as a liaison between faculty and administration, led curriculum development, and supported staff recruitment and instructional improvement. My leadership extends beyond the classroom through years of coaching, serving as Assistant Athletic Director, and representing educators as a Union Representative. I thrive in collaborative environments and am committed to fostering strong relationships, supporting educators, and building systems that help both teachers and students succeed.
